Cravate en coton noir

I’ve been looking for a black tie that works for both work meetings and dinner dates, and the 3-inch width is just right. The cotton feels substantial but not stiff, and the slim cut avoids that bulky look I hate.

Finally, a tie that's actually the right width — not too wide like my dad's old ones, not too skinny. The cotton fabric is a nice change from all my slippery polyester ties, feels more grounded. It knots up neatly and stays put, exactly what I needed for casual Fridays.

The 3-inch width is exactly the sweet spot—slim enough to feel modern but still classic for the office. The cotton has a nice matte texture that doesn't scream "polyester," and it held its knot shape all day. Only downside is the dry clean only care, but that's fine for a tie I wear weekly.
